Come along to our Year of Open Rituals at Insole Court in Cardiff. We will be open for our first ritual at Winter Solstice in 2019 and will continue until Samhain of 2020.
We are hoping to allow all of those who do not have a celebration to attend a place to come and join in the wheel of the year.

The Wheel of the year
The Goddess stirs in the underworld. The rebirth of Spring, the rising of the sap, the festival of purification. Festival of Bride. The White lady comes to the world for a short visit to pick up wood for her fire. This is the fire of purification.
The Spring Equinox, when the days and nights are equal. Light is extending through the world and all llife is waking up to the arrival of the Sun. Festival of Eggs, Chicks Rabbits and rebirth
The Courting and chasing festival. When the God chases the Virgin Goddess. This is seen in old folk songs like the Coal blacksmith. Look it up its a great Beltaine song. He catches her (or she lets herself be caught) and they make love to give fertility to the land.
At the summer solstice the sacred marriage takes place. The sun at its highest takes the earth as its bride.
The death of John Barleycorn the god of the Grain. The god is sacrificed by the lady to give the land life for another year. During the ritual of sacrifice the Goddess eats a wheat seed and this is the soul of the next Sun God born at Winter solstice.
The Godess Descends - Life moves from the warm of the late days of autumn into the shorter days leading to winters call. The old Sun god is left to guard the earth while the mother carries the Sun child in the underworld. He is Black and Cold.
Festival of the Dead. The honouring of our ancestors. The remembrance of those who have died in war. The communication with the spirit world and the celebration of the unending cycle of life and death
The Birth of the Sun god. He is born in a cave in the underworld and that is why his presence is not felt immediately. As he grows he gains in strength and when he enters the world at Beltane. His is the soul of the John Barleycorn sacrificed at Lammas
